Terms of Service
Last updated 8 October 2026. Steadfast QR is run by Firstname Lastname, 1 Example Street, London, AB1 2CD, United Kingdom. Contact: hello@example.com.
These terms are the agreement between you and Firstname Lastname ("we", "us") for using Steadfast QR at https://qrc-app.duckdns.org (the "service"). By creating an account you agree to them. Please read them; they're written to be short and plain.
1. The service
Steadfast QR lets you create dynamic QR codes that send people to a web link or to a menu you upload, change where they go at any time, brand them, print them and see scan statistics.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18, and give a real email address you can receive mail at.
- Keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- If you use the service for a business, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it.
3. Plans and payment
- Free includes 3 codes. Pro costs £4 a month or £36 a year and includes up to 100 codes plus the extra features listed on our pricing page. Prices include any VAT that applies.
- Pro is currently available to customers with a UK billing address only. Subscriptions bought from elsewhere are cancelled and refunded in full.
- Payments are taken by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Manage billing; Pro then continues until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a while. If it still fails, your account returns to the Free plan.
- We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email of any price increase. It applies from your next renewal after that, and you can cancel before it does.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
4. Your codes keep working
If you cancel Pro or move to Free, every code you've already created keeps working; you just can't create more than the Free limit. Codes stop working only if you pause or delete them, delete your account, or we disable them under section 5.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the service, or point a code at anything, that:
- is illegal, fraudulent or deceptive, including phishing, scams, or pages pretending to be someone else;
- spreads malware or tries to harm anyone's device or account;
- infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights, including menus or logos you don't have the right to use;
- is sexually explicit, hateful, harassing or violent;
- sends spam, or tries to overload, probe or break the service.
If we believe a code breaks these rules, we may disable it or suspend the account, without notice where people could be harmed. Report misuse to hello@example.com.
6. Your content
You keep all rights to the menus, logos and links you add. You give us permission to store, process (for example, converting a PDF to images) and show that content only as needed to run the service for you. You confirm you have the right to use everything you upload.
7. Availability
We work hard to keep codes working around the clock and back up data every night, but we can't promise the service will never be interrupted. We may change or improve features. If we ever close the service, we'll give at least 90 days' notice by email so you can replace printed codes.
8. Liability
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that can't legally be limited.
- If you're a consumer, you have legal rights these terms don't affect.
- For business customers: we aren't liable for lost profits, revenue, business or data, or for indirect losses. Our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, or £100 if greater.
- Please test-scan codes before printing in quantity; we aren't responsible for printing costs.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Sections 6 and 8 continue after the agreement ends.
10. Changes and law
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear disputes. If you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you can also use your local courts.
